Where do I buy tickets?

You can currently buy tickets online, on board the water shuttle, or at the kiosk located at 300 SW 1st Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.

 

What is the cost for the Water Shuttle?

$10 – All Day Pass

FREE – 15-year-olds and under

 

How many stops do you have? Where can I get on the boat?

You may board the Water Shuttle at any of the 3 Water Shuttle stops.

Stop #1 – Las Olas Riverfront Plaza

Stop #2 – Laura Ward Plaza / Cheesecake Factory / Historic Stranahan House Museum

Stop #3 – Coconuts / Courtyard Marriott / Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory

 

Can I ride the Water Shuttle all day with my ticket?

 

Yes! Your ticket includes UNLIMITED BOARDING all day.

 

Are there discounts for groups?

Is the Water Shuttle safe?

 

Water Shuttle is fully licensed by the US Coast Guard and the City of Fort Lauderdale as a water transport service and is inspected regularly.

There is no need to wear a life jacket during the cruise although the boat is fully equipped with life jackets for all passengers.

How long is the wait between stops?

 

The estimated time between Stop #1 and Stop #3 is 30 minutes, with a mid-way stop at Stop #2.

 

How long is a round trip on the Water Shuttle?

 

The average round trip is 1 hour.

 

I bought a ticket for a specific day but I wasn't able to make it on that day. Can I use my ticket on a different day?

 

Tickets are good for the day of purchase only. We apologize for any inconveniences. However, there are some exceptions. Please call (954) 463-3440 for more information.

 

Are you handicap accessible?

 

The Water Shuttles can accommodate some persons with handicaps. However, because of the nature of our smaller vessels, tides, and fixed docks, not all vessels are fully accessible at all locations.

Are strollers allowed on the boat?

They are permitted, but must be folded up and stored during the ride.

Can I bring my dog on the boat?

Yes. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are permitted on the vessels.

What happens if it rains?

The Water Shuttle will still run in light rain and other mild weather conditions. The boat deck is covered and will protect you from the rain.

Can I bring children on the shuttle?

 

Yes. Children ages 15 and under ride for free. However, you must still reserve a ticket for them as they will need a boarding pass to board the boat.

 

Is the cruise suitable for pregnant women?

 

The cruise is suitable for pregnant women. We cruise the New River and Intracoastal Waterway and do not go out into the ocean, so the ride is smooth and pregnant women shouldn’t have any problems.

Are beverages allowed on the boat?

 

Yes, but no glass containers!

 

Are the Water Shuttle captains licensed?

 

We have some of the finest captains in the South Florida area, and they are all coast guard licensed and drug tested. You will be completely safe on our cruise!

Will I get seasick?

It is very unlikely that you will get seasick since we cruise the New River and Intracoastal Waterway and do not go out into the ocean.

Should I tip the crew?

Tipping is greatly appreciated if you enjoyed your experience on board.
